  Yesterday I learned about SEO [Search Engine Optimization]. Google’s main search results are provided only from Google and not Yahoo or AOL. But, Google does provide results to AOL, Netscape,Yahoo and many other web browsers. SERP [Search Engine Result Page] displays many major search engines throughout the world. There were some search engines that I’ve never heard of but once we went over some of them, i learned more about them. A crawler is a program developed to scan the web pages.
Crawlers are made up of 3 basic components.
a. Crawler or Spider
b. Index
c. Search Engine Software

84% of internet users have used a search engine. More than half of those users using the Internet use search engines at least a couple times a week. Yahoo is the second largest player in the industry with 28% f market time. AskJeeves  depends on crawler-based technology.

You will not have all the skills you need to develop a commercial website. If you don’t have resources that want you to be hired experts, then you can do some research. You are able to search for partners that handle areas that you are weak in. Other designers are allowed to help you with problems you need help with.

In my opinion I think that designers should be allowed to help there co-workers. For the future, web designing will be useful. I would like to become a fashion designer and designing websites will be very useful. Also, experts who do this for a living are idols to some people.
